NaPoWriMo 2013

Well I must be crazy.
I sure ain't lazy.
I'm going to try NaPoWriMo 
in April.
Caught betwixt being easier 
with one poem a day
and following prompts, 
which I've never done before
What a price to pay 
I want more.
Must have more journals to fill.
It's going to be a sure act of will.
Can't wait.
I've taken the bait.
Now to figure out how to make a webpage,
It's all the rage,
to showcase my words. 
It sounds absurd.
I'll get there. I think.

TAKE TWO

Another year has flown by
So I'm giving it another try
With Pen and Journal in hand
I'll spread my words throughout the land
It's time for NaNoWriMo once again
In doing this I join my friends
We take this adventure together
Making the burden light as a feather
Imagine how great the thrill
Once this journal s actually filled
Filled with encouragement and joy
The words become merely a toy
Filled with sorrow, tears, and fears
Only for those who dare to hear
One whole month to accomplish the task
It'll go by way too fast

FOR NANOWRIMO I WROTE 4 to 5 POEMS A DAY AS AN ASSOCIATE AND FILLED A JOURNAL OF 128 PAGES.
